Hello Hello Hello folks. It’s a pleasure to be joining you on the OGB’s political blog. Let’s get started, shall we?
The leading Democratic Presidential Campaigns have been in touch with two heavy-hitters in the U.S. Senate. As Senators, they are superdelegates to the national convention, and as such prominent members of the Senate, both campaigns are hoping to attract one of both of these superdelegates.
When asked her preference in the contest, Superdelegate Hillary Clinton stated, “While I am still uncommitted, as I watch the primary develop, it is obvious to me that the role of superdelegates is to select whoever we think will be our best candidate for the general election.”
Superdelegate Barack Obama countered, “It is the responsibility of superdelegates such as myself to follow the will of the voters. Wherever the voters lead, the superdelegates should follow.”
