Let me take a minute, to mention the passing of Tim Russert.  This guy was truly an inspirational journalist, and one of the hardest workers that the business has seen.  He also was, by common knowledge, one of the nicest people around Washington.  It should be noted that he is a terrific writer who published works on the great relationship between father and son (Big Russ and Me, Wisdom of Our Fathers), and very appropriately, my father is the one who introduced me to his work.  Meet the Press has been my favorite show for some time—whoever replaces him won’t hold a candle to his amazing talents as a host.  Thanks, Tim Russert.
