Hello Lover | Sex and the City
Everyone’s beloved quartet of Manhattan fashionistas are finally hitting the big screen. After a four year wait, fans have lots of questions: Will Carrie and Big tie the knot? Does Miranda’s marriage survive? Is Charlotte pregnant? Will Samantha ever find true love? Sex and the City is sure to be filled with cosmos, Manolos and sex! – K. P.

Journey Back to Narnia | Prince Caspian
The next movie from C.S. Lewis’ Narnia series has arrived. The Pevensie’s have spent a year away from Narnia but they return only to find that hundreds of years have passed. Now an evil dictator, Miraz, rules over the land and the children fight, along with the help of Aslan the lion to restore Prince Caspian, Miraz’s nephew, to the throne. – C. B.

A Night Out with the Girls | The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2
Ugly Betty’s America Ferrera was reportedly not happy she had to make this sequel to the 2005 film, which skips over the second and third books and focuses on the fourth. The first movie was the first time we saw Gossip Girl Blake Lively and everyone’s favorite Gilmore, Alexis Bledel is back. Amber Tamblyn rounds out the cast. – K. P.

Everybody was... | Kung Fu Panda
Like so many animated movies, Kung Fu Panda follows a strikingly human-esque animal world. Po is a slacker panda who dreads working daily in his family’s noodle shop but gets the chance to fulfill his kung fu dreams. In typical kiddie movie fashion, there is a lesson to be learnt, as Po must believe in himself to save his valley from a treacherous snow leopord. – C. B.

Lamest Title Ever? | Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
The original trilogy found our hero battling the Nazis. Now Indy (Harrison Ford, still hot at 65) fights against USSR agents (one of whom is played by Cate Blanchett) for a crystal skull. Joining his entourage is Shia LaBeouf. The movie promises action and the usual Indy theatrics. – K. P.

It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, It’s | The Dark Knight
If there is one movie you have to see this summer, it’s this highly anticipated sequel to 2005’s Batman Begins. In addition to returning Christian Bale as the title hero, it is also Heath Ledger’s final completed film. As the Joker, the beloved actor described his character as “a mass murdering schizophrenic clown.” The film will be chilling and is one you cannot miss. – K. P.

(Not Another) Date Movie | Made of Honor
Grey’s Anatomy’s Patrick Dempsey is hitting the chick flick genre this summer as a womanizer named Tom, who realizes his true feelings for his best friend, Hannah, right after she gets engaged. Hannah asks him to be her maid of honor and he decides it’s the perfect opportunity to win her heart. Only time will tell if it becomes this summer’s chosen romantic comedy. – C. B.

Song and Dancing Queen | Mamma Mia!
Who’s your daddy? Meryl Streep stars in the film adaptation of the successful musical based on ABBA songs. It tells the story of Sophie (Amand Seyfried), whose mother refuses to reveal the identity of her father. So, she invites three men who could possibly be her father to her own wedding on the very island that they knew her mother decades ago. Mamma mia! – C. B.

He’s not James Bond | Wanted
Summer moviegoers are never short on action films. Wanted is the story of an average guy who becomes recruited into a fraternity of assassins. James McAvoy teams up with his mysterious mentor, Fox (Angelina Jolie) for this fast-paced action thriller. McAvoy and Jolie are easy on the eyes and may make Wanted the unlikeliest date movie yet. – K. P.

Everybody Must Get Stoned | Pineapple Express
Adding to the Judd Apatow pantheon of films is Pineapple Express. Seth Rogen stars as stoner Dale Denton who becomes the sole witness to a murder. While fleeing the scene, Denton drops his weed – the rare Pineapple Express. Denton and his dealer (James Franco) run for their lives after learning the weed is traceable. The film is sure to appeal to all of Apatow’s fans. – K. P.
