>Student awarded in anthropology: Senior Christina Chauvenet was awarded first prize in the Peter K. New Student Research Competition in Memphis, Tenn. March 28.  
Sponsored by the Society for Applied Anthropology, the nationwide competition was open to all undergraduate and graduate students.
