>Deacs headed to Charlotte for Meineke bowl: The football team has accepted an invitation to play in the Meineke Car Care Bowl in Charlotte.
The bowl game will take place at 1 p.m. on Dec. 29 at the Bank of America Stadium, the home of the NFL&#8217;s Carolina Panthers and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
