Check out the Makepeace Brothers!
At first I thought Jason Mraz’s 3 opening acts- a band, a solo artist, and a magician, was a bit excessive. However, when the first band, the Makepeace Brothers, started playing- I was hooked. Their harmonies, care-free style, and powerful messages made for some great music. And, an important part of being an opening band, they didn’t overstay their welcome- they knew Mraz was the main event. They brought him out for a little appearance, but the focus was on them for a few songs, then they handed off the torch. “Sweet Caroline,“ “Hero,“ and “Things Gonna Wait” were some of the beautiful songs they performed.
