In case you missed the walloping we gave Duke, I just wanted to show you the aftermath of such a gratifying achievement.

Oh and by the way Scheyer, maybe score some points next time.... It tends to help win the game.

I know many athletes have a favorite or lucky meal they eat before a big game, but Virginia Tech’s Dorenzo Hudson might want to change his, after he vomited during the VA-Tech basketball game against the University of Maryland Feb. 20.

I mean Maryland was not even wearing their yellow uniforms.
Of course, Maryland fans lived up to reputation chanting “THAT’S DIS-GUS-TING.”

...News flash, it is.

Duke alum gives more reasons to hate the Blue Devils

In a recent article in Newsweek magazine, Duke alum Devin Gordon gives a whiny and bitter trip down memory lane.  He basically confirms everything we hate about Duke University and lets us know that we are not alone.  Although, since I come from Connecticut, it does make me happy to know that he hates UCONN for beating Duke in the championship game in 1999 (the man can definitely hold a grudge!)

There’s a writer named Will Blythe, a graduate of the University of North Carolina, our sworn enemy, who hates Duke so much that he wrote an entire book about it called “To Hate Like This Is to Be Happy Forever,” and it was a best-seller. He spun his bile for a bunch of college students into serious money. And you know what? We get it. We’re fine with it. Our pain is your joy. Our tears are your sweet tea. Whenever we lose, an angel gets its wings.

That’s right, Duke.  We hate you too.  Maybe if you weren’t so insanely arrogant we’d care if you lost… but let’s face it, beating you 86-73 was the highlight of our season.

Davidson gives free ride to NCAA

School wearing you out? Sad we aren’t playing post-season basketball? Like to travel for free? You should be at Davidson then.  According to the News & Record , after its best season in 40 years, Davidson is offering free bus fare, hotel accommodations and game tickets to the Wildcat NCAA game this Friday.I’m always down for a come-from-nowhere team. Go Cats!
