Wake wins national debate tournament

Yesterday Wake Forest juniors Seth Gannon and Alex Lamballe won the National Debate Tournament at California State University. They beat 77 other teams and both placed in 10th and 19th, respectively, in individual competitions as well.

Congratulations to the Wake Forest debate team!

10th and 19th… so they didn’t REALLY win. AKA… 1st place… AKA winning.

They won as a team. There are different competitions for individual debates as well. I think that is clear in my entry.
