Good work Jermyn
Finally, an e-mail that acutally said something that I care about. Today Jermyn Davis, our student government president revealed what we already knew, that all students with a meal plan can now use their meals to make purchases at certain retail locations on campus like Benson Food Court, Subway, Starbucks and the I.S. Food Court .
The next piece of information was the real gem though, that is if you are an upperclassman. He writes
Second, the Student Government is petitioning the faculty of the undergraduate college to revisit the issue of grandfathering the raise in requirements for the Dean’s List. The requirements were changed from a 3.0 G.P.A. to a 3.4 G.P.A., and your Student Government would like to ensure that upperclassmen are protected from this change by maintaining the same 3.0 requirement for the duration of their academic career at Wake Forest. Members of Student Government will be going before the Faculty Meeting to propose a revision of this policy next Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008.
He recommends you talk to your teachers about it so they can vote along your wishes, I do not think I would do that but hey, if you do it I’ll buy you a Starbucks on my meal plan.
