Kevin Koehler can be clever

Morse Code, that’s hard core

Don’t you hate when people give you a hard time about your Jenna Jameson poster?

Check out Time’s piece on the evolution of the dorm room.

Turns out girls and boys used to use flashlights to communicate in Morse Code between dorms.

Be glad we go to Wake in an era where you don’t have to present yourself in the formal parlor to take a girl out.

Attention XX Trail Runner

I just wanted to alert people who use the cross country trails behind water tower field that there are some branches down on the trail as well as several humongous puddles.

I know the signs are silly but run with caution or you will trip and fall and have that cute boy from Bio ask if you are alright and then you’ll turn eight shades redder then is normal, like me (well not really but if I didn’t give you a hypothetical you might not listen).

For those of you who might use this as an excuse not to run, watch this video for inspiration:

Because Calloway gets everything

image

From the news service:

NEW CENTER HELPS BUSINESS MAJORS SHARPEN IMAGE — The Ernst & Young Professional Development Center has opened in Kirby Hall to help all business majors in the Calloway School of Business and Accountancy sharpen job-readiness skills in such areas as business etiquette, professional presence, time management, team-building and networking.  The center was established this summer through the generosity of the Ernst & Young Foundation, as well as that of the partners and employees of Ernst & Young.  Sam Leonard Beck, who received her undergraduate and master’s degrees from Wake Forest, has been appointed as the first director of the new center and brings to the task more than 20 years of experience in career development in higher education.

Isn’t this a great addition to that fantastic wooden swan? Hooray, Calloway has yet another fancy thing that ices out people who are acutally here for a liberal arts education.
It’s not like our job fairs are not coated in banks or audit firms anyway…
