The administration wants to pay you for a change

Hey seniors, dreading graduation and having to leave “the bubble” in a few months? Not lucky enough to land a real job yet? Well here’s one way to stick around a while longer, without having to flunk exams.

The university has started a new Wake Forest Fellows Program to offer seniors one year employment with the administration—in the offices of the president, the provost, university advancement, and Student Life. There are four full-time, full-fledged staff positions for the class of 2008, a fit for a variety of career plans. And you don’t have to shell out 40 grand for the privilege. In fact, they promise to pay you well. Hopefully, there won’t be a required meal plan either.
