Hostage situation at Clinton campaign office in NH
Update 6:57 pm: The standoff has ended and suspect arrested. No one was hurt in the ordeal. Few other details are known.
Currently in Rochester, New Hampshire, at the campaign office of Hillary Clinton, there is a hostage situation. A man with a bomb strapped to his chest entered the office around 1 p.m. and has let one hostage with an infant free. He still has two other people still in the building with him. Clinton has canceled her 3 p.m. speaking engagement to deal with this crisis situation. This may seem like a scene from “24,” but this is very real. I understand that Clinton is the candidate that people love to hate, but this is too extreme. It is scary how far people will go in the name of personal beliefs and politics, and I hope the man is detained before he can harm any hostages. Police have been on the scene since 2 p.m.
